Images and videos of the earth up from space have always been fascinating and a favorite on the Internet. Japanese astronaut, Soichi Noguchi shared a similar image of the blue planet, and that has caught the attention of many on social media.
The astronaut shared an amazing image from the UNESCO World Heritage Site and did so on his last day at the International Space Station.
Beautiful image of the Pyramids of Giza
In his image, he has beautifully captured the pyramids of Giza, unarguably earth’s oldest and grandest monuments, also UNESCO’s world heritage site. He first shared this image on Twitter.
This image quickly received love and appreciation by social media users, and many left comments amazed and stunned looking at the wonder that exists on earth. The image beautifully captured all 3 pyramids and was indeed a sight worth its beautiful view.
Astronaut, part of the Space X Dragon Capsule
Soichi Noguchi was a part of the 4 team members of the Space X Dragon capsule that landed back on earth this Sunday. The other three members are NASA’s Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker.
This capsule came down at the earth, and in Florida early on Sunday. This was also recorded as NASA’s first nighttime ocean landing in over 50 years. This team of astronauts left for space in November and in a vehicle made by Elon Musk’s Space X. Coming back after a successful expedition after more than 6 months.
